| After a long hiatus, we have decided to subtitle The Tale of Genji anime series in celebration of the novel's 1000th anniversary. This is a difficult task due to the many classical references and extremely formal Japanese, but we've taken it up as a challenge and hope to not disappoint. We will be using the Royall-Tyler translation scheme for names and titles. I hope you enjoy this series as much as we have. | |
